VideoTools is software for video surveillance that can record, analyse and replay images from webcams and network cameras. It can use direcly-attached webcams or network cameras that provide JPEG or H.264 video streams over HTTP or RTP. VideoTools runs on Linux and BSD Unix.
A C++ multi-threaded application for viewing network IP cameras, and other video device supported by v4l2. It uses TrollTech QT3, V4L2 and HTTP protocol. This demo project (2006 - 2007) requires the following:
1. Qt3 libraries and headers
2. OpenGL libraries
3. Kdevelop 3
To build the project: import with Kdevelop 3 and build this should generate Makefiles, missing template headers and demo binary.

TvARP is a program created for automated recording and playback for small local TV stations. Specifically for local stations that have a low budget and can't afford a commercial automation system.
I have not had time to finish this software. If you are interested in using it please let me know. Currently it is designed for use with the SIMA-VS502 video switch, and I am using it in our local TV Station. There are changes that need to be made to the source code to be able to use it...
