    The application itself was written on Gambas2 and uses "ffmpeg" to record the video, as this post it can be used but still lacks functions(lots of them) and stability. The application uses "gambas2" to run, "ffmpeg" to record the screen and "xwininfo" to get window dimensions. They need to be installed manually, on Ubuntu is done with: $ sudo apt-get install gambas2 ffmpeg xwininfo
