    gitwatch

    gitwatch

Watch a file or folder and automatically commit changes to a git repo

...Some programs auto-write their config files, without waiting for you to click an 'Apply' button; or even if there is such a button, most programs offer you no way of going back to an earlier version of your settings. If you commit your config file(s) to a git repo, you can track changes and go back to older versions. This script makes it convenient, to have all changes recorded automatically. If you use an editor that does not have built-in git support (or maybe if you don't like the git support it has), you can use gitwatch to automatically commit your files when you save them, or combine it with the editor's auto-save feature to fully automatically and regularly track your changes. ...

strip output from Jupyter and IPython notebooks

Opens a notebook, strips its output, and writes the outputless version to the original file. Useful mainly as a git filter or pre-commit hook for users who don't want to track output in VCS. This does mostly the same thing as the Clear All Output command in the notebook UI. You can download and install the latest version of nbstripout from PyPI, the Python package index. Strip output from IPython / Jupyter / Zeppelin notebook (modifies the file in-place). Usually, nbstripout is installed per repository so you can choose where to use it or not. ...

    nodebrew

    nodebrew

    Node.js version manager

nodebrew is a straightforward version manager for Node.js that installs into your home directory and lets you switch Node versions with a single command. It can download official binaries or build from source, track multiple installed versions, and set a global “current” version by updating your shell PATH. Git-FTP

    Git-FTP

Uses Git to upload only changed files to FTP servers

If you use Git and you need to upload your files to an FTP server, Git-ftp can save you some time and bandwidth by uploading only those files that changed since the last upload. It keeps track of the uploaded files by storing the commit id in a log file on the server. It uses Git to determine which local files have changed. You can easily deploy another branch or go back in the Git history to upload an older version. git-ftp was not designed as centralized deployment tool. While a commit is being pushed and uploaded to the FTP server, all files belonging to that revision must remain untouched until git-ftp has successfully finished the upload. ...

    Git push deploy for Node.js

...It creates bare Git repositories on a Linux server and automatically deploys pushed code into managed application directories. A web service exposes application status through a dashboard, JSON endpoint, and authenticated controls. Configuration supports environment variables, per-app PM2 settings, custom branches, and post-receive hooks. Docker images and a programmatic Node API are also included, although the project reflects an older Node.js deployment stack.
