Drawj2d creates technical line drawings using a descriptive language. It writes pdf, svg, eps, emf and dxf vector graphics or png images. It runs on all platforms that run Java. It is inspired by Asymptote but with a tcl-like syntax and 2D only.

...RAWGraphs is an open source data visualization framework built with the goal of making the visual representation of complex data easy for everyone. Primarily conceived as a tool for designers and vis geeks, RAWGraphs aims at providing a missing link between spreadsheet applications (e.g. Microsoft Excel, Apple Numbers, OpenRefine) and vector graphics editors (e.g. Adobe Illustrator, Inkscape, Figma). Jade is a cross-platform diagram editor built on the Qt framework. It is similar in scope to Microsoft Visio or Gnome dia. It is released under the GNU General Public License version 3.0 and is available for Windows, Linux, and likely any other platform that is supported by the Qt library.
