wxBrowser is an application browser based on the wxWidgets GUI framework. It's similar to a regular old web browser only, instead of reading HTML and displaying content it reads XML and executes presentation logic (wxPython) in a client side application.

wxOptParse will run any python program that uses the optparse module and show the options in a dialog instead of at the command line.

wxPropertyGrid is a specialized grid for editing properties such as strings, numbers, flagsets, fonts, and colours. Use with wxWidgets 2.6.1 or later.

On the basis of itchat, wxpy improves the ease of use of the module through a large number of interface optimizations and provides rich function expansion. yuik is an abstract widget library for creating GUIs. The actual frontend can be chosen at runtime which allows the program to run under Tk, as a shell program, and even as a web-application. More frontends like an irc-bot, wxWidgets, or XUL are planned.

Synthesia is an open hardware/software platform intended for creating standalone audio devices such as synthesizers on embedded processors.

This is a Python package with extensions for Tkinter. It supports both Python 2.7 and Python 3.3. Currently, the project is in version 1.0 of the Production stage. Feel free to fork off the main project or send me possible additions to the package.
