A simple font chooser for Tkinter that allow the user to select the font family among the fonts available on his/her system. unite.vim is a Vim plugin for creating interactive interfaces from many different information sources. It can display and search items such as files, buffers, recently used files, registers, and other source-defined candidates. Users can then run actions on the selected items directly from the Unite interface. The plugin is designed around a source-and-action model, which makes it flexible for navigation, selection, filtering, and workflow automation inside Vim. It became influential because it turned many editor tasks into a unified candidate-selection experience. Although active development has shifted toward newer successors, unite.vim remains a notable reference point for extensible Vim user-interface design.

wnd is a python only win32 api framework focussing on GUI developement on win98/XP platforms.

wxBrowser is an application browser based on the wxWidgets GUI framework. It's similar to a regular old web browser only, instead of reading HTML and displaying content it reads XML and executes presentation logic (wxPython) in a client side application.

A cross platform front-end GUI of the popular youtube-dl media downloader written in wxPython. Youtube-dl-gui uses youtube-dl in the backend to download files. Youtube-dl provides a list of extractors to work with each particular site. You can change the naming pattern by picking a different filename format under the Options>General tab. You can also use a custom pattern by setting the option to "Custom" and editing the output template field. You can change the number of max parallel downloads by editing the "workers_number" option in your settings.json file. You can add extra youtube-dl command line options in the commands box under the Options>Extra tab. You can use your own version of youtube-dl by editing the "youtubedl_path" option in your settings.json file and make it point to your own binary (e.g. /usr/local/bin).

yuik is an abstract widget library for creating GUIs. The actual frontend can be chosen at runtime which allows the program to run under Tk, as a shell program, and even as a web-application. More frontends like an irc-bot, wxWidgets, or XUL are planned.

This is a Python package with extensions for Tkinter. It supports both Python 2.7 and Python 3.3. Currently, the project is in version 1.0 of the Production stage. Feel free to fork off the main project or send me possible additions to the package.
