Haxentric is a client side Haxe/HTML/JavaScript framework. It is similar to Adobe/Apache Flex (but not the same). It has a precompiler (named HPC) which converts HXML codes to Haxe classes. Haxe classes are converted to JavaScript codes by the Haxe compiler. It has a packager (named HPKG) which creates single HTML applications. And with the embedder (named HE) you can embed text files into a class. Available under LGPL 3.0.

Headroom.js is a lightweight, high-performance JS widget (with no dependencies!) that allows you to react to the user's scroll. The header on this site is a living example, it slides out of view when scrolling down and slides back in when scrolling up. Fixed headers are a popular approach for keeping the primary navigation in close proximity to the user. This can reduce the effort required for a user to quickly navigate a site, but they are not without problems. Large screens are usually landscape-oriented, meaning less vertical than horizontal space. A fixed header can therefore occupy a significant portion of the content area. Small screens are typically used in a portrait orientation. Whilst this results in more vertical space, because of the overall height of the screen, a meaningfully-sized header can still be quite imposing.

Electron is a great landmark. Normal shortcuts, icon, its own window, file system access, notifications, OS integrations. Write once, run everywhere is no longer rejected by users. Performant enough not to noticeably lag.

HyperGUI is a library of C++ classes and some other parts which can draw and run a GUI for your application. It uses libSDL as its backend for graphical output. This library can be used in both dynamic multimedia (game), and standard (static) applications. The HyperGUI manages it by avoiding screen refreshes as much as possible. In a game or other dynamic multimedia program, the screen (or part of it) is redrawn and refreshed tens of times a second, so there is no need for GUI to ask more refreshes in response of input events; and in a static application each event may change a tiny part of the screen, and only that part needs redrawing. HyperGUI has the flexibility to work in both states.

Instigate GUI Toolkit is an Abstraction for multiple GUI Toolkits allowing to write single GUI code which can run on multiple platforms and with multiple GUI back-ends. Now it supports QT and gtkmm back-ends on Linux. Work on GTK+ and EWL is ongoing.
