    GenEpiO

The Genomic Epidemiology Ontology covers food-borne disease terms

Here we introduce a Genomic Epidemiology Ontology (GenEpiO) that covers vocabulary necessary to identify, document and research food-borne pathogens and associated outbreaks. We envision various subdomains including genomic laboratory testing, specimen and isolate metadata, and epidemiological case investigations. The project files are currently hosted at https://github.com/GenEpiO/genepio/ . Here we provide the genepio-consortium@lists.sourceforge.net listserve. Terms for these subdomains have partially been implemented in the main file, **genepio.owl**, which imports terms from over 25 OboFoundry.org ontologies. Also we have added a number of terms that so far haven't been covered via OboFoundry. Recognizing that GenEpiO encompasses many domains, we are advocating a consortium approach for enhancing its content via interested parties that need particular domain terminology.

    Golden Layout

    Golden Layout

A multi window layout manager for webapps

Golden Layout is a JavaScript layout manager designed for building complex, multi-panel web applications with draggable and resizable components. It enables developers to arrange UI elements into flexible layouts that can be dynamically reconfigured by users through drag-and-drop interactions. The system is particularly useful for dashboards, IDE-like interfaces, and data-heavy applications where multiple panels need to coexist and be rearranged. Golden Layout manages component positioning, visibility, and resizing through a structured layout tree, allowing precise control over how elements are displayed. It also supports saving and restoring layouts, enabling persistence of user configurations across sessions. The library integrates with popular frontend frameworks such as Angular and Vue, and includes support for virtual components to bridge framework-specific rendering models.

    Google Material Design Lite

    Google Material Design Lite

    Material Design Components in HTML/CSS/JS

Material Design Lite lets you add a Material Design look and feel to your websites. It doesn’t rely on any JavaScript frameworks and aims to optimize for cross-device use, gracefully degrade in older browsers, and offer an experience that is immediately accessible. The MDL components are created with CSS, JavaScript, and HTML. You can use the components to construct web pages and web apps that are attractive, consistent, and functional. Pages developed with MDL will adhere to modern web design principles like browser portability, device independence, and graceful degradation. Material Design Lite (MDL) is a library of components for web developers based on Google's Material Design Philosophy: "A visual language for our users that synthesizes the classic principles of good design with the innovation and possibility of technology and science." Understanding the goals and principles of Material Design is critical to the proper use of the Material Design Lite components.

    Gridster.js

    Gridster.js

A jQuery plugin that makes building intuitive draggable layouts

Gridster is a jQuery plugin that makes building intuitive draggable layouts from elements spanning multiple columns. You can even dynamically add and remove elements from the grid. Fork now handles standard behavior properly with swap allowing larger widgets to shift down. Setting the maximum amount of rows only completely works if you disable shifting larger widgets down at the moment. Widgets of smaller or equal size to the dragged widget (player) will swap places with the original widget. This causes tiles to swap left and right as well as up and down. By default smaller players will shift larger widgets down. By setting shift_larger_widgets_down to false, smaller widgets will not displace larger ones.

    Headroom.js

    Headroom.js

Give your pages some headroom, hide your header until you need it

Headroom.js is a lightweight, high-performance JS widget (with no dependencies!) that allows you to react to the user's scroll. The header on this site is a living example, it slides out of view when scrolling down and slides back in when scrolling up. Fixed headers are a popular approach for keeping the primary navigation in close proximity to the user. This can reduce the effort required for a user to quickly navigate a site, but they are not without problems. Large screens are usually landscape-oriented, meaning less vertical than horizontal space. A fixed header can therefore occupy a significant portion of the content area. Small screens are typically used in a portrait orientation. Whilst this results in more vertical space, because of the overall height of the screen, a meaningfully-sized header can still be quite imposing.

HeyUI.ext is a comprehensive UI component library built for Vue.js that provides a wide range of reusable components and tools for developing modern web applications with efficiency and consistency. Designed as a full UI toolkit rather than a minimal component set, it includes elements for forms, tables, modals, navigation, and data handling, making it suitable for building complex interfaces such as dashboards and admin panels. The library emphasizes simplicity and speed, allowing developers to quickly assemble functional interfaces while maintaining scalability as projects grow. It supports modern development workflows through npm installation as well as CDN usage, enabling both lightweight experimentation and full-scale application integration. HeyUI also includes features such as validation, internationalization, and advanced components like trees, selectors, and date pickers, which help streamline common frontend tasks.

    IPFS Web UI

    IPFS Web UI

A frontend for an IPFS node

A web interface to IPFS, shipped with Kubo, and ipfs-desktop. Check on your node stats, explore the IPLD powered merkle forest, see peers around the world and manage your files, without needing to touch the CLI. When working on the code, run an ipfs daemon, the local dev server, the unit tests, and the storybook component viewer and see the results of your changes as you save files. If you need to run IPFS in a Docker container, you can still have Web UI available by exposing both the Gateway and Web UI ports. The end-to-end tests (E2E) test the full app in a headless Chromium browser. They spawn real IPFS node for HTTP API and a static HTTP server to serve the app. The purpose of those tests is not being comprehensible, but act as a quick regression and integration suite.

    Inferno

    Inferno

React-like JavaScript library for building modern user interfaces

Inferno is an insanely fast, React-like library for building high-performance user interfaces on both the client and server. React-like API, concepts and component lifecycle events. Switch over easily with inferno-compat. One of the fastest front-end frameworks for rendering UI in the DOM, making 60 FPS on mobile possible. Isomorphic rendering on both client and server, along with fast-booting from server-side renders. Inferno doesn't have a fully synthetic event system like React does. Inferno has a partially synthetic event system, instead opting to only delegate certain events (such as `onClick`). Inferno doesn't support React Native. Inferno was only designed for the browser/server with the DOM in mind. Inferno doesn't support legacy string refs, use `createRef` or callback `ref` API. Inferno provides lifecycle events on functional components. This is a major win for people who prefer lightweight components rather than ES2015 classes.

    Inquirer.js

    Inquirer.js

A collection of common interactive command line user interfaces

Inquirer.js strives to be an easily embeddable and beautiful command line interface for Node.js (and perhaps the "CLI Xanadu"). Inquirer.js should ease the process of providing error feedback, asking questions, parsing input, validating answers, and managing hierarchical prompts. Inquirer.js provides the user interface and the inquiry session flow. If you're searching for a full blown command line program utility, then check out commander, vorpal or args. Create a self contained inquirer module. If you don't want to affect other libraries that also rely on inquirer when you overwrite or add new prompt types. Internally, Inquirer uses the JS reactive extension to handle events and async flows. This mean you can take advantage of this feature to provide more advanced flows. For example, you can dynamically add questions to be asked.

    Interactable

    Interactable

Experimental implementation of high performance interactable views

This is an experimental implementation of a declarative API for handling fluid user interactions with views at 60 FPS in React Native. Here are some example use-cases for views that users can interact with. Swipeable card (a la Google Now) springing into place unless swiped away with enough force. Drawer snapping between closed and open with buttons appearing gradually as it's being dragged. Collapsible header that snaps to a smaller size as the content below is being scrolled. Chat heads (a la Facebook Messenger) that can be dragged around but snap to corners of the screen. All of these use-cases have views that continuously interact with the user's gestures. These interactions are normally physical in nature, having properties like springiness, friction, elasticity and damping. In order to feel natural on a touch device they need to run at 60 FPS.
