Dehydrated is a client for signing certificates with an ACME-server (e.g. Let’s Encrypt or ZeroSSL) implemented as a relatively simple bash script. It uses the OpenSSL utility for everything related to actually handling keys and certificates, so you need to have that installed. Other dependencies are cURL, sed, grep, mktemp (all found on almost any system, cURL being the only exception). Automatic help and man mpage production is provided as well as generating the code for getopt(1). Requires bash-3+. DEPRECATED in favour of argp.sh: https://sourceforge.net/p/argpsh/ process_getopt(1) is a wrapper around getopt for bash script developers. It saves you time, reduces the chance for errors and increases the chance that doco is actually written. It is the bash equivalent of RedHat's popt and GNU's argp for C. There is also a 'c' version in case speed ever becomes an issue.
