React Hot Loader is a plugin that allows React components to be live reloaded without the loss of state. It works with Webpack and other bundlers that support both Hot Module Replacement (HMR) and Babel plugins. HMR allows us to replace modules in-place without restarting the server. Here’s how you can enable it for different bundlers. The easiest and fastest option to use React Hot Loader with Webpack is to use webpack-dev-server with --hot CLI option. If you’re only rendering on the client side but you have to use some custom node server, this is still an easy option. You can simply copy server.js from the official boilerplate into your project. The important part of the configuration is that when you create a new WebpackDevServer, you need to specify hot: true as an option.

Quill is a free, open-source WYSIWYG editor built for the modern web. With its extensible architecture and a expressive API you can completely customize it to fulfill your needs. ReactQuill 2 is here, baby! And it brings a full port to TypeScript and React 16+, a refactored build system, and a general tightening of the internal logic. We worked hard to avoid introducing any behavioral changes. For the vast majority of the cases, no migration is necessary at all. However, support for long-deprecated props, the ReactQuill Mixin, and the Toolbar component have been removed. In controlled mode, components are supposed to prevent local stateful changes, and instead only have them happen through onChange and value. The Quill editor supports themes. It includes a full-fledged theme, called snow, that is Quill's standard appearance, and a bubble theme that is similar to the inline editor on Medium. The core theme must be included for modules like toolbars or tooltips to work.

Walt is an alternative syntax for WebAssembly text format. It's an experiment for using JavaScript syntax to write to as 'close to the metal' as possible. It's JavaScript with rules. .walt files compile directly to WebAssembly binary format. Writing zero-overhead, optimized WebAssembly is pretty tough to do. The syntax for .wat files is terse and difficult to work with directly. If you do not wish to use a systems language like C or Rust, then you're kind of out of luck. Your best bet (currently) is to write very plain C code, compile that to .wast and then optimize that result. Then you're ready to compile that into the final WebAssembly binary. Provide a thin layer of syntax sugar on top of .wat text format. Preferably porting as much of JavaScript syntax to WebAssembly as possible. This improved syntax should give direct control over the WebAssembly output. Meaning there should be minimal to none post-optimization to be done to the waste code generated.
