A modern and intuitive terminal-based text editor
Micro's number one feature is being easy to install (it's just a static binary with no dependencies) and easy to use. Use a simple json format to configure your options and rebind keys to your liking. If you need more power, you can use Lua to configure the editor further. Micro supports over 75 languages and has 7 default colorschemes to choose from. Micro supports 16, 256, and truecolor themes. Syntax files and colorschemes are also very simple to make. Micro has support for Sublime-style multiple cursors, giving you lots of editing power directly in your terminal. Micro supports a full-blown plugin system. Plugins are written in Lua and there is a plugin manager to automatically download and install your plugins for you. Micro's keybindings are what you would expect from a simple-to-use editor. You can also rebind any of the bindings without problem in the bindings.json file. Micro has full support for the mouse. -

SOPS
Simple and flexible tool for managing secrets
sops is an editor of encrypted files that supports YAML, JSON, ENV, INI and BINARY formats and encrypts with AWS KMS, GCP KMS, Azure Key Vault, age, and PGP. For the adventurous, unstable features are available in the develop branch, which you can install from source. To use sops as a library, take a look at the decrypt package. We rewrote Sops in Go to solve a number of deployment issues, but the Python branch still exists under python-sops. We will keep maintaining it for a while, and you can still pip install sops, but we strongly recommend you use the Go version instead. If you're using AWS KMS, create one or multiple master keys in the IAM console and export them, comma separated, in the SOPS_KMS_ARN env variable. It is recommended to use at least two master keys in different regions. If you want to use PGP, export the fingerprints of the public keys, comma separated, in the SOPS_PGP_FP env variable. -

This is very useful if you store documentation to your software in a Git repository and don't want to do the extra job of updating the Confluence page using a tinymce wysiwyg enterprise core editor which always breaks everything. Mark does the same but in a different way. Mark reads your markdown file, creates a Confluence page if it's not found by its name, uploads attachments, translates Markdown into HTML, and updates the contents of the page via REST API. It's like you don't even need to create sections/pages in your Confluence anymore, just use them in your Markdown documentation. Mark uses an extended file format, which, still being valid markdown, contains several HTML-ish metadata headers, which can be used to locate a page inside the Confluence instance and update it accordingly. -

Blackfriday is a Markdown processor implemented in Go. It is paranoid about its input (so you can safely feed it user-supplied data), it is fast, it supports common extensions (tables, smart punctuation substitutions, etc.), and it is safe for all utf-8 (unicode) input. HTML output is currently supported, along with Smartypants extensions. It started as a translation from C of Sundown. Blackfriday itself does nothing to protect against malicious content. If you are dealing with user-supplied markdown, we recommend running Blackfriday's output through HTML sanitizer such as Bluemonday. Blackfriday includes an algorithm for creating sanitized anchor names corresponding to a given input text. This algorithm is used to create anchors for headings when EXTENSION_AUTO_HEADER_IDS is enabled. The algorithm has a specification, so that other packages can create compatible anchor names and links to those anchors. -

Support Chinese word segmentation (concurrent word segmentation using the sego word segmentation package, speed 27MB/sec). Support to calculate the proximity distance of keywords in the text (token proximity). When a request to add a document to the index comes in, the main coroutine will send the text to be segmented to a word segmentation coroutine through a channel, and the coroutine will segment the text and send it to a word segmentation through another channel. Indexer coroutines. The indexer coroutine builds an inverted index from the search keyword to the document, and the inverted index table is stored in memory for quick recall. The main coroutine receives the user's request, segments the request phrase in the main coroutine, and then sends it to the indexer through the channel. -
