Available both for the desktop (as a Java application) and on Android. Unencrypted data is never stored on-disk. Source is released (on SourceForge) under the BSD license.

This is a small application like a Windows notepad, but released under GNU GPL. The difference from similar apps is its minimalism and absence of features, not necessary for a simple text editor, in other words - it's just a text editor!

A simple text editor. Nice Notepad replacement. This is a basic a GUI text editor, edits simple text files. Useful for making quick edits to files. A small text editor without many advanced features, however it may evolve into having specialized features.
