    mistletoe

    mistletoe

A fast, extensible and spec-compliant Markdown parser in pure Python

mistletoe is a Markdown parser in pure Python, designed to be fast, spec-compliant and fully customizable. Apart from being the fastest CommonMark-compliant Markdown parser implementation in pure Python, mistletoe also supports easy definitions of custom tokens. Parsing Markdown into an abstract syntax tree also allows us to swap out renderers for different output formats, without touching any of the core components.

    pylatexenc

    pylatexenc

Simple LaTeX parser providing latex-to-unicode and unicode-to-latex

Simple LaTeX parser providing latex-to-unicode and unicode-to-latex conversion. Python 3.4 or 2.7. The library is designed to be as backward-compatible as reasonably possible and is able to run on old Python versions should it be necessary. (Use the setup.py script directly if you have Python 3.7, poetry doesn't seem to work with old Python versions.) The pylatexenc.latexencode module provides a function unicode_to_latex() which converts a Unicode string into LaTeX text and escape sequences. It should recognize accented characters and most math symbols. A couple of switches allow you to alter how this function behaves.

Welcome to python-bibtexparser, a parser for .bib files with a long history and wide adaption. Bibtexparser is available in two versions: V1 and V2. For new projects, we recommend using v2 which, in the long run, will provide an overall more robust and faster experience. For now, however, note that v2 is an early beta, and does not contain all features of v1.

WaTeX is a LaTeX HTML document renderer. Unlike other LaTeX to HTML translators which try to understand TeX, this takes a more high-level approach. You will not be able to convert very complex documents, but it is extensible and produces nice output.

    wikmd

    wikmd

A file based wiki that uses markdown

It’s a file-based wiki that aims to simplicity. Instead of storing the data in a database I chose to have a file-based system. The advantage of this system is that every file is directly readable inside a terminal etc. Also when you have direct access to the system you can export the files to anything you like.
