Open Source Tcl Test and Measurement Software

An interface to the IEEE488.1 (GPIB) bus for TCL. In contrast to gpib-tcl, it supports callbacks on SRQ events and provides an object oriented (Tk-style) interface.

Tcl binding to VISA (Virtual Instrument Software Architecture) API. It is linked to Tcl as a standard extension following Tcl Extension Architecture (TEA) conventions. ECTk, the electrochemical tool kit, is a command line based application built on Tcl. It allows to define electrochemical experiments either interactively or via a script file sourced by ECTk. Virtually any potensiostat can be driven, the only condition being that the instrument has analogue inputs and outputs. ECTk is developed and maintained by the Electrocatalytic Green Engineering Group at Concordia University. ECTk communicates via any analogue IO board supported by the comedi library. This offers a great flexibility as a large number of IO boards are supported by comedi. ECTk is running under Linux and was developed under Linux Ubuntu. ECTk was developed with the aim to conduct experiments in electrochemistry with a great flexibility. In particular, ECTk can be extended to satisfy the needs for a particular application. It is for example possible to drive, besides a potensiostat, simultaneously other instruments like a rotating electrode set-up.

The Graphical Display and Analysis Tool (GDAT) is a flexible and extensible data graphing program suitable for engineering applications. It can display and measure waveforms (e.g., rise time), and it can be extended through a plugin architecture.

Refactored BLT Components (RBC), includes data vectors and graph widgets for developing line and bar graph applications in Tcl/Tk.

Middle level device drivers for the Ultraship U-2, a USB HID scale, no brand or company name available. Includes basic test scripts, drivers, example implementations and documentation. The output of this driver will insert it into applications.

A library to process X-ray images from the Heimann imaging system. The XGray library has interfaces to C++ and Tcl and includes the graphical program XRayLab, which is written Tcl.

This extension adds a new channel type to Tool Command Language that allows for easy and modern communication with devices plugged into a GPIB buss. Linux and Windows friendly.
