pyhard2 is an object-oriented framework to help in the development of instrument drivers. pyhard2 is proposed as an alternative to LabVIEW. We write this software for the development and the validation of our instrument, the Low Frequency Receiver(LFR) for the Solar Orbiter mission. OpenSQUID is a Python framework for the control of SQUID (superconducting quantum interference device) readout electronics.
