Open Source Object Pascal Test and Measurement Software

SME LibreAquarium is an Aquarium management system with a Simulation Model Engine (SME) that makes a prediction of the possible measurement values for the different pollutants that affect to these aquatics systems (NO3,PO4, Fe). The simulator consults the recorded analysis to calculate a prediction of the NO3, PO4, Fe, that the these aquatic system produce. It also uses a central (fish, plant and invertebrates) database to check if the actual parameters are Ok, depending on the species that live in the Aquarium. With all the records, the Simulation Model predicts the algae risk too (low,medium,high) and the algae type(green,cyanotic.) using the Redfield coefficient. Appart from that, the program tries to bring another modest contribution to Open Source Software and the World of Aquariums. SME LibreAquarium helps to daily maintenace of the aquarium with habitants control(fishes,plants, invertebrates), expenses, statistics, alarms, etc.

Software for simple linguistic experiments. The BlackSquare is designed to test subject's abilities to connect expressions or notions according to a given rules. BMI Wizard calculates the body mass index (BMI) from weight and size and vice versa.

Heat Wizard converts thermocouple voltages to temperatures and back.

This program is designed to measure thermophysical properties of materials (thermal diffusivity and specific heat) by the laser flash method. A huge thanks to ULVAC RICO Inc.(Japan), whose equipment is still in operation and for which this program is implemented. The measurements are performed by a multifunctional analog input board PCI-1710UL (ADVANTECH, Taiwan), which is used as a variable-frequency signal recorder (in range 40 Hz – 40 KHz). The program is designed for simultaneous use of two TC3000 units. The measurement is triggered when an external trigger signal from a ruby laser is applied to one of the digit of digital I/O port of the PCI-1710UL board. The program includes a help system called F1. The application uses an external library (Advantech DAQNavi SDK) and driver to control the PCI-1710UL board.
