Users can paste a URL, inspect available formats, choose a resolution, or extract audio as MP3. High-resolution streams can be merged automatically through FFmpeg. The app downloads its own yt-dlp binary when necessary and can fall back to a bundled FFmpeg build. Keyboard, number-key, and mouse controls make the terminal interface interactive rather than command-only. Files are saved to the user’s Downloads directory, and automatic, light, and dark terminal themes are supported.
