    SwiftFormat

    SwiftFormat

A command-line tool and Xcode Extension for formatting Swift code

SwiftFormat is a code library and command-line tool for reformatting Swift code on macOS or Linux. SwiftFormat goes above and beyond what you might expect from a code formatter. In addition to adjusting white space, it can insert or remove implicit self, remove redundant parentheses, and correct many other deviations from the standard Swift idioms. Many programmers have a preferred style for formatting their code, and others seem entirely blind to the existing formatting conventions of a project. When collaborating on a project, it can be helpful to agree on a common coding style, but enforcing that manually is tedious and error-prone, and can lead to arguments if some participants take it more seriously than others. Having a tool to automatically enforce a common style eliminates those issues, and lets you focus on the behavior of the code, not its presentation.

    ora

    ora

    Elegant terminal spinner

Ora is an elegant terminal spinner. If a string is provided, it is treated as a shortcut for options.text. Spinners provide their own recommended interval, so you don't really need to specify this. Indent the spinner with the given number of spaces. Force enable/disable the spinner. If not specified, the spinner will be enabled if the stream is being run inside a TTY context (not spawned or piped) and/or not in a CI environment. Note that {isEnabled: false} doesn't mean it won't output anything. It just means it won't output the spinner, colors, and other ansi escape codes. It will still log text. Discard stdin input (except Ctrl+C) while running if it's TTY. This prevents the spinner from twitching on input, outputting broken lines on Enter key presses, and prevents buffering of input while the spinner is running.

    SSHTOOLS

    SSHTOOLS

    Java SSH API

This project now hosts the third-generation of Java SSH API, Maverick Synergy. This API builds on the Maverick Legacy commercial APIs and delivers a new API in a unified client/server framework. This API is available to the community under the LGPL open source license. This update includes ed25519 support, support for the new OpenSSH private key file format and stronger key exchange algorithms. The project continues to host both the original API and legacy applications created around it, however, these are now considered deprecated and we do not recommend their use in anyway.

    NPKILL

    NPKILL

List any node_modules directories in your system

Easily find and remove old and heavy node_modules folders. Installation through npm is simple. Make sure you have installed node and npm and then run npm i -g npkill. You can also use it without installing it by running npx npkill. Simply go from the terminal to the directory from which you want to search and type npkill. This will start the search and will show the node_modules directories next to their size. You can use the cursor arrows to move up or down. Pressing the Space key will erase the directory in which the cursor is located, freeing up that valuable space. This tool allows you to list any node_modules directories in your system, as well as the space they take up. You can then select which ones you want to erase to free up space. Yay! Say goodbye to lengthy commands. Using npkill is as simple as reading a list of your node_modules, and pressing Del to get rid of them. Could it be any easier?

    PlatformIO Atom IDE Terminal

    PlatformIO Atom IDE Terminal

A terminal package for Atom, complete with themes, API and more

The PlatformIO Atom IDE Terminal is a lightweight terminal package for the Atom editor that embeds a native shell right inside the editor UI. It provides a familiar terminal experience—shell history, colors, and interactive programs—without switching windows, which streamlines workflows when building, flashing, or debugging embedded firmware from PlatformIO or other toolchains. The integration supports multiple terminal tabs, configurable shells, and user-defined startup commands so each project pane can pre-load environment variables or virtualenvs. Because embedded development often requires frequent command-line interactions (builds, serial monitors, log watchers), having the terminal adjacent to code and the project tree significantly reduces context switching. The package is intentionally minimal and focuses on stability and responsiveness rather than trying to replace full-featured terminal emulators.

    Typer

    Typer

Typer, build great CLIs, based on Python type hints

Typer is a library for building CLI applications that users will love using and developers will love creating. Based on Python 3.6+ type hints. Great editor support. Completion everywhere. Less time debugging. Designed to be easy to use and learn. Less time reading docs. It's easy to use for the final users. Automatic help, and automatic completion for all shells. Minimize code duplication. Multiple features from each parameter declaration. Fewer bugs. The simplest example adds only 2 lines of code to your app: 1 import, 1 function call. Grow in complexity as much as you want, create arbitrarily complex trees of commands and groups of subcommands, with options and arguments. And it's intended to be the FastAPI of CLIs. Typer stands on the shoulders of a giant. Its only internal dependency is Click.

    Wave Terminal

    Wave Terminal

An open-source, cross-platform terminal for seamless workflows

Wave is an open-source AI-native terminal built for seamless workflows. Wave isn't just another terminal emulator; it's a rethink on how terminals are built. Wave combines the command line with the power of the open web to help veteran CLI users and new developers alike. Keep development moving forward without the copy, pasting, saving, and exporting headache. Built on an open web framework that is fully extensible. Quickly edit code on a local or remote machine with the same editor that powers VSCode. Great alternative to vim for new terminal users or quick updates. Preview Markdown files, render CSVs in a table (for copy/paste that works), and see JSON in a collapsable tree view right inline in your terminal. View any .jpeg, .png, .gif and more without sending the image to an external browser. Wave terminal sessions are persistent. Your sessions are restored through disconnects and reboots (even of the remote machine).

Install Nothing is a Rust-based project is a command-line tool that simulates the output of an installation process without actually doing any real installation, letting users watch amusing fake progress screens as if packages, kernels, or desktops were being compiled and configured. Rather than running real tasks, it produces convincing terminal output that mimics the steps, logs, and scrolling messages of installation scripts, making it entertaining for demonstrations, jokes, or screensaver-style displays in terminal sessions. It’s designed for simplicity and safety, doing nothing destructive or permanent on your system while still delivering a satisfying illusion of intense computing activity. Users can configure its behavior to include or exclude specific fake stages, so the output can be tailored to the experience they want.

    Merlin

    Merlin

Context sensitive completion for OCaml in Vim and Emacs

Merlin is an editor service that provides modern IDE features for OCaml. Emacs and Vim support is provided out-of-the-box. Since version 4.0, merlin's repository has a dedicated branch per version of OCaml, and the branch name consist of the concatenation of OCaml major version and minor version. So, for instance, OCaml 4.11.* maps to branch 411. The main branch is usually synchronized with the branch compatible with the latest (almost-)released version of OCaml. Note: if you're using an older version of OCaml (between 4.02 and 4.10) you will want to build the 3.4 branch, although it won't contain the most recent features. If you want to work on merlin, you'll want to avoid the -p merlin, to build in dev mode, with some extra warnings enabled. In that case you'll also need an extra dependency.

Open source interactive audit system that supports RDP, SSH, VNC,

The Next Terminal open-source project has gained nearly 3,000 Stars on GitHub and has a large number of users, so you can absolutely trust the stability of Next Terminal. You can access RDP, SSH, VNC, TELNET and other protocol assets in a system without plug-ins, just a browser. You can view the currently active sessions at any time, and monitor and block them. For character protocols, you can even restrict the execution and logging of certain commands. Next Terminal observes and logs every online resource, connection, interactive session and other security event in all environments. These events are recorded in a structured audit log, making it easy to see what is happening and who is responsible. Next Terminal is developed with Golang. After compilation, there is only one binary file, and the built-in sqlite can be used to store files. It is very lightweight and supports one-line command installation.
