Run any command on specific Node.js versions
Run any command on specific Node.js versions. node >=14.18.0 must be globally installed. However the command run by nve can use any Node version (providing it is compatible with it). The first time nve is run with a new VERSION, the Node binary is downloaded under the hood. This initially takes few seconds. However subsequent runs are almost instantaneous. Tools like nvm, nvm-windows, n or nvs are meant to execute a specific Node.js version for an entire machine, project or shell session. It does not need a separate installation step for each Node version, it can run the major release's latest minor/patch version automatically, works on Windows. No need to run as Administrator. It does not require Bash and it is installed as a Node module (as opposed to a Bash installation script downloaded with curl). -

Percollate
A command-line tool to turn web pages into beautiful, readable PDF
Percollate is a command-line tool that turns web pages into beautifully formatted PDF, EPUB, or HTML files. By default, percollate processes URLs in parallel. Use the --wait option to process them sequentially instead, with a pause between items. The delay is specified in seconds, and can be zero. By default, percollate bundles all web pages in a single file. Use the --individual flag to export each source to a separate file. Additional CSS styles you can pass from the command line to override styles specified by the default/custom stylesheet. Generate a hyperlinked table of contents. The option is implicitly enabled when bundling more than one web page to a single file. Disable this implicit behavior by passing the --no-to flag. The idea with percollate is to make PDFs that can be printed without losing where the hyperlinks point to. However, for some link-heavy pages, the appended hrefs can become bothersome. -

Make sure to give each prompt a unique name property to prevent overwriting values. Prompt properties can be functions too. Prompt Objects with type set to falsy values are skipped. Prompter function which takes your prompt objects and returns an object with responses. Prompts can be submitted (return, enter) or canceled (esc, abort, ctrl+c, ctrl+d). No property is being defined on the returned response object when a prompt is canceled. -

TinyGo
Go compiler for small place
TinyGo brings the Go programming language to embedded systems and to the modern web by creating a new compiler based on LLVM. You can compile and run TinyGo programs on over 60 different microcontroller boards such as the BBC micro:bit and the Arduino Uno. TinyGo can also produce WebAssembly (WASM) code which is very compact in size. You can compile programs for web browsers, as well as for server and edge computing environments that support the WebAssembly System Interface (WASI) family of interfaces. TinyGo is a Go compiler intended for use in small places such as microcontrollers, WebAssembly (Wasm), and command-line tools. It reuses libraries used by the Go language tools alongside LLVM to provide an alternative way to compile programs written in the Go programming language. While TinyGo embeds the Clang compiler to parse import "C" blocks, many features of Cgo are still unsupported. -

This command line tool can be used to encrypt and decrypt files and directories using the AWS Encryption SDK. If you have not already installed cryptography, you might need to install additional prerequisites as detailed in the cryptography installation guide for your operating system. Installation using a python virtual environment is recommended to avoid conflicts between system packages and user-installed packages. For the most part, the behavior of aws-encryption-cli in handling files is based on that of GNU CLIs such as cp. A qualifier to this is that when encrypting a file, if a directory is provided as the destination, rather than creating the source filename in the destination directory, a suffix is appended to the destination filename. By default the suffix is .encrypted when encrypting and .decrypted when decrypting, but a custom suffix can be provided by the caller if desired. -

jQuery Terminal is a JavaScript library for creating command-line interpreters in your applications. You can use this JavaScript Terminal library to create interactive web-based terminal applications on your website. Where commands are defined by you. You can define them on the server or in the browser's JavaScript. It can automatically call JSON-RPC service when the user types a command. Alternatively, you can provide an object with methods; each method will be invoked on the user's command (the python command can create python interpreter). An object can have nested objects which will create a nested interpreter (you can create an interactive menu of adventure games with this). You can also use a function in which you can parse user commands by yourself (you have full control of what users type into the terminal). It's ideal if you want to provide additional functionality for power users. -

Send User Notifications on macOS from the command-line
terminal-notifier is a command-line tool to send macOS User Notifications, which are available on macOS 10.10 and higher. alerter features were merged in terminal-notifier 1.7. This led to some issues and even more issues in the 1.8 release. From now on terminal-notifier won't have the sticky notification feature nor the actions buttons. If you need them please use alerter. Sticking to two smaller specialized tools will hopefully make them easier to maintain and less error prone. It is currently packaged as an application bundle, because NSUserNotification does not work from a ‘Foundation tool’. radar://11956694. If you intend to package terminal-notifier with your app to distribute it on the Mac App Store, please use 1.5.2; version 1.6.0+ uses a private method override, which is not allowed in the App Store Guidelines. -

The CLI tool gluing Git, Docker, Helm, and Kubernetes
werf is an Open Source CLI tool written in Go, designed to simplify and speed up the delivery of applications. To use it, you need to describe the configuration of your application (in other words, how to build and deploy it to Kubernetes) and store it in a Git repo, the latter acts as a single source of truth. In short, that's what we call GitOps today. werf is not a complete CI/CD solution, but a tool for creating pipelines that can be embedded into any existing CI/CD system. It literally "connects the dots" to bring these practices into your application. We consider it a new generation of high-level CI/CD tools. werf builds Docker images using Dockerfiles or an alternative fast built-in builder based on the custom syntax. It also deletes unused images from the Docker registry. werf deploys your application to Kubernetes using a chart in the Helm-compatible format with handy customizations and improved rollout tracking mechanism, error detection, and log output. -

Coming soon, support for private feeds. You can run BaGet on your preferred platform, on your computer, Docker, Azure, AWS, Google Cloud, and Alibaba Cloud (Aliyun). With a few extra steps, you can run BaGet behind a Windows IIS proxy. This has many benefits, including automatic restarts on reboots. You may need to give special permissions to the top-level BaGet folder so that the app can persist in its state. This is necessary as the Application Pools' identity is a virtual account that isn't recognized by the Windows User Management Console. -

Be careful as this will also circumvent your ability to receive fresh data on every route visit. -

High-quality library definitions for Flow. flow-typed is a repository of third-party library interface definitions for use with Flow. When you start a project with Flow, you likely want to use some third-party libraries that were not written with Flow. By default, Flow will just ignore these libraries leaving them untyped. As a result, Flow can't give errors if you accidentally misuse the library (nor will it be able to auto-complete the library). To address this, Flow supports library definitions which allow you to describe the interface of a module or library separate from the implementation of that module/library. The flow-typed repo is a collection of high-quality library definitions, tests to ensure that definitions remain high quality, and tools to make it as easy as possible to import them into your project. All you have to do when you add one or more new dependencies to your project is run flow-typed install. -

Kryo is a fast and efficient binary object graph serialization framework for Java. The goals of the project are high speed, low size, and an easy-to-use API. The project is useful any time objects need to be persisted, whether to a file, database or over the network. Kryo can also perform automatic deep and shallow copying/cloning. This is direct copying from object to object, not object to bytes to object. Kryo has three sets of methods for reading and writing objects. If the concrete class of the object is not known and the object could be null. Besides methods to read and write objects, the Kryo class provides a way to register serializers, reads and writes class identifiers efficiently, handles null objects for serializers that can't accept nulls, and handles reading and writing object references (if enabled). This allows serializers to focus on their serialization tasks. -

Merlin
Context sensitive completion for OCaml in Vim and Emacs
Merlin is an editor service that provides modern IDE features for OCaml. Emacs and Vim support is provided out-of-the-box. Since version 4.0, merlin's repository has a dedicated branch per version of OCaml, and the branch name consist of the concatenation of OCaml major version and minor version. So, for instance, OCaml 4.11.* maps to branch 411. The main branch is usually synchronized with the branch compatible with the latest (almost-)released version of OCaml. Note: if you're using an older version of OCaml (between 4.02 and 4.10) you will want to build the 3.4 branch, although it won't contain the most recent features. If you want to work on merlin, you'll want to avoid the -p merlin, to build in dev mode, with some extra warnings enabled. In that case you'll also need an extra dependency. -

S3cmd (s3cmd) is a free command line tool and client for uploading, retrieving and managing data in Amazon S3 and other cloud storage service providers that use the S3 protocol, such as Google Cloud Storage or DreamHost DreamObjects. It is best suited for power users who are familiar with command-line programs. It is also ideal for batch scripts and automated backup to S3, triggered from cron, etc. S3cmd is written in Python. It's an open-source project available under GNU Public License v2 (GPLv2) and is free for both commercial and private use. You will only have to pay Amazon for using their storage. Lots of features and options have been added to S3cmd, since its very first release in 2008.... we recently counted more than 60 command-line options, including multipart uploads, encryption, incremental backup, s3 sync, ACL and Metadata management, S3 bucket size, bucket policies, and more! -

Preload files allow you to execute JS with Node integration in the context of your Vue App (shared window variable).
