Terminal emulator for Windows Subsystem for Linux (WSL)

The project was created for users who wanted a better WSL terminal before Microsoft’s newer Windows Terminal became common. It provides launcher scripts, shell integration, context-menu helpers, and configuration options for opening WSL environments from Windows. wsl-terminal is especially useful as a historical and practical tool for users who prefer mintty-style behavior when working with Linux distributions on Windows. Its main value is giving WSL users a polished terminal experience with better ergonomics than the old default console.
