This is one of my first .NET projects I did back in 2001. I wrote v2, supporting TCP/IP and Windows which was an upgrade from the v1 that was COM-port oriented and written by my father in QuickBasic eXtended (QBX) 7.1 around 1988. Not all ESC-codes have been implemented, only basics, which is all we needed. The only thing that was changed since 2002 is that I've upgraded the project to .NET Framework 4.8.1, fixed the creating of registry keys to store the settings and used Control.Invoke in 3 places where async methods are used, while apparently back in .NET 2 (I guess) that wasn't necessary. ... -

Ansi2txt converts a stream of vt100 (ansi) codes on the stdin into readable text on the stdout. It can also output html that looks quite a lot like your terminal did. Works fine with ncurses output. Compile the C source into the command line tool.

A C# .net VT/Telnet terminal emulator. The project is still very much in development but the Terminal is quite useable and fairly tolerent. It requires a c# 2 compiler. If anyone has taken this project any further, I'd love to see the results.

pysole is a wrapper for simulating C# console applications.
Pysole is a graphical console simulation pygame wrapper or in simpler terms, Pysole uses pygame to simulate a text interface, such as Windows powershell or the Linux Console. Initially Pysole was built to emulate .NET Console Applications with their dynamic text and background colouring. However, .NET Console Applications, without the support of mono cannot run on operating systems other then windows. Pysole can run on any os that python and pygame can.
