pyMobile is a pure-Python package designed to communicate with mobile phones through a direct connection (e.g. through Bluetooth). This package can be used to create a variety of mobile applications using Python.

pyTXT2VMG extracts all sms-datasets from a textfile [.txt] and saves every message in the Nokia-fileformat for sms [.vmg]. This script is part of the SourceForge.net project "VMGconvertTXT" (sourceforge.net/projects/vmgconverttxt). Requires Python 2.5!

pyTkSMS is a interface for gsmlib, which allowes you too send short messages, using SMS. You must have a mobilephone, with a way of connecting to your computer. Should work under Windows, Linux and *BSD, so far only Linux is tested... Made in Python

A python tool to backup phone book entries and sms messages from cellphone over bluetooth and USB using AT commands. Currently tested with a SAMSUNG SGH-D900 model, read support for SGH-D520 and SGH-E250. Support export to vCard format.

Pyst consists of a set of interfaces and libraries to allow programming of Asterisk from python. The library currently supports AGI, AMI, and the parsing of Asterisk configuration files. This project is intended for users who want to get more out of the voice modem they may have. Why another project for modem? Looking for the good quality software for the voice communication trough the modem, I could find only Win32 based. Linux now :)
