...Never lose track of file hierarchy while you search. Broot tries to select the most relevant file. You can still go from one match to another one using tab or arrow keys. You may also search with a regularexpression. To do this, add a / before the pattern. You may also apply logical operators or combine patterns, for example searching test in all files except json ones could be !/json$/&c/test and searching carg both in file names and file contents would be carg|c/carg.
A powerful filename renaming tool capable of efficiently modifying, lowercasing, or uppercasing large quantities of files. This quick and robust utility is written in C and supports extended regular expressions for searching and substituting pattern strings in filenames. It is compatible with both Linux and Windows operating systems.

gnupasswd - gnu change user password
gnugpasswd - gnu change group password
gnupasswd(1) has a goal to work with older login.c/linux and some newer too, also "getpwent" (any glibc). or help convert.

File Processing Tools - string search and DOS command execution
...Release 0.1.0 consist of the multi-threaded file search tool that allow you to select multiple folders and files, then search those files that contains particular strings using regularexpression.
Release 2.0 includes the DOS command execution function, so that you can apply DOS command to a list of selected folders and files.
You can batch rename files using this feature.
This release add an option to select files from the result panel and let you do iteration processing.

Adds regularexpression capability to your /etc/hosts file! Any hostname that matches the defined regularexpression will be resolved to the given IP, allowing you to easily overwrite the DNS resolving for a large set of hosts.
Scour: a Perl script able to find lines in log files matching a given Perl regularexpression. It counts matches within given time periods, and reports on whether the number of matches exceeds a given count, shows matching lines, or executes a command.
Accepts a regularexpression as an argument and any matches found (stdin) will be highlighted (stdout) using shell color escape sequences. Good for looking through logs/monitoring console output/etc.
