    loadavgd

Monitor CPU load and terminal activity, execute command when idle

The loadavgd program monitors the CPU load and user input at (pseudo-) terminals. It provides a kind of power management for server systems, where keyboard or mouse activity can not be queried. Loadavgd was written because powernap did not work on my system. If the load is below a certain treshold and there is no input at any (pseudo-) terminal for a given amount of time, an action is issued. This action might be, for instance, "suspend". The D-Bus API of systemd-logind is called to invoke an action. The daemon is configured via a configuration file.

    gnupasswd

    gnupasswd

gnupasswd - gnu change user password

...If setuid it allows regular users to change passwd without asking root to do changes for them. (note: does have learning curve on args to choose) gnupasswd - gnu change user password gnugpasswd - gnu change group password gnupasswd(1) has a goal to work with older login.c/linux and some newer too, also "getpwent" (any glibc). or help convert. gnupassd does pass only: leaves all else alone (compat). small, simpler for single admin / small linux bases. For example: it can make plain /etc/passwd plain text password file (still) or use shadow - (login.c may do both). A goal is to be old linux and no "depends problems" (ie, some required pam selinux audit kerb (+nis remove hacks) "to work as intended". ...

    Enterprise

Tool intended to help the process of booting Linux on Intel Macs.

Enterprise is a custom UEFI bootloader designed to load Linux distributions directly from ISO files on Apple Mac computers (even those without UEFI booting support). It is designed to compliment Mac Linux USB Loader, though it can also be used separately (albeit with some setup work). The purpose of Enterprise is as the first stage in a two-stage booting process for Mac Linux USB Loader-created USB drives. Essentially, Enterprise loads GRUB, giving it configuration settings and the location of necessary files inside of the desired ISO, and then the distribution is booted. Enterprise will soon support booting multiple distributions, so you can have more than one distribution per USB stick. ...
