RKV allows the user to backup and restore whatever he wants in a very flexible way. The actual backup and restore procedures are supplied by the user. RKV packages and executes them, so it's a kind of framework. Written in shell.

Uses wget, configure, make and checkinstall/slackbuilds to download, package and install software from sources. currently works for slackware, but can be easily ported to whatever checkinstall supports (debian, redhat).

Simple script of backup using tar for *NIX systems and written in bash, very easy to suit whatever backup policy, using complete, incremental or parcial backups. It has some features for esample mail notification, index of files, error notices, etc.
