Whereas alacarte can be used to do this, alacarte requires multiple creation of several launchers if one wants them in several menu areas. This is a mass file renamer utilizing regular expression power.
This is a python based UI application that can rename a part of a set of files inside a directory based on the provided regular expression. This gives a lot more flexibility compared to other renaming files since it used grouping principle. This had two level of applying the rename, first stage shows who it will be when you rename it, if you are fine with the change you can make it permanent by clicking commit. My ideas beyond up my coding abilitiy :( Monarch Linux is an Arch Linux based distro driven by Peynir suprapackage manager. Monarch Linux also has primitive Live CD Hardware Configurator called "Bilgin". In order to Monarch Linux developed by rookie coder, you should be ready for everything :). Monarch is currently at prealpha stage. So its updated frequently and you may get a lots of error. -

These are same simple scripts... One is used to start/stop/toggle a specific tunnel as a service (init script). The second one is a script called when the tunnel is established or disconnected (up/down script). A pyQt GUI interface is also provided.
