Raymond is a platform-independent distributed host manager written in Perl. It is defunct, and probably not useful anymore. I recommend that you explore Puppet, which is what I now use.

NOTE: development of place has ceased (a long time ago actually...) There are many other fully developed tools for managing system configuration (Spacewalk, Puppet, etc).
