A build-it-yourself, 6-wheel rover based on the rovers on Mars
The JPL Open Source Rover is an open source, build it yourself, scaled down version of the 6 wheel rover design that JPL uses to explore the surface of Mars. The Open Source Rover is designed almost entirely out of consumer off the shelf (COTS) parts. This project is intended to be a teaching and learning experience for those who want to get involved in mechanical engineering, software, electronics, or robotics.
The JPL Server Monitor will check to ensure websites and server services are running and responding. It also tracks the response time of the site/service. There is a cron script that can be activated to automate the checks.
A game written in python using pygame. The user launches a probe with starting velocity. The probe is then only controlled by gravity. Score based on time surviving (before collision) and proximity to objects.
