Domestik is another monitoring system (à la Nagios). But the aims here are : * to be as lightweight as possible at client side, * all communication is done thru webservices * to expose alerts thru web services * to provide trend on machines' figures * ... Vigie is a small widget for your systray providing visibility on webservices exposed data. The 1st version used SOAP and was tested with SAG webMethods suite. As per version 2, REST as been implemented as well and Vigie is the companion of choice for my very own Domestik monitoring tool.
