broadcom-bt-firmware provides the firmware blobs needed by Linux to initialize Broadcom Bluetooth adapters found in many laptops and mini-PCIe/M.2 modules. On these devices, the kernel driver expects a small firmware image to be loaded at runtime before the controller becomes fully functional. The project aggregates known-working .hcd files, often extracted from vendor Windows drivers, and organizes them by chipset and device ID so users can match hardware quickly. -

Low Rate Personal Area Network support for Linux
IEEE 802.15.4 networkong stack covers PHY and MAC layers (PHY layer implemented in hardware and MAC optionally implemented in software). Also 6lowpan (IPv6 packet encapsulation) is implemented for use by IEEE 802.15.4 and BT LE networks. Note: due to licensing restrictions (and despite project's name) we do not plan to implement any ZigBee related stack parts. -

This project is used to simulate Bluetooth connections over TCP/IP. The server can run under Windows or Linux however Bluetooth devices can only be simulated on Linux for now. May be used to emulate Bluetooth connections between two virtual machines (e.g. VMware) running Linux. (The server would run on the host system in this case.) -

The main goal is to centralize control of camera, BT, wi-fi, fan, brightness and possibly some other Asus Eee PC hardware in one simple daemon and userspace frontend. This project was started just for fun and any real practical use is accidental ;)
