System Information Data Collector (SysInfo-DC) is a tool for collecting information from a HP-UX operating system and some HP hardware and software. Support engineers can use SysInfo-DC to obtain a system configuration and troubleshoot problems.

System Configuration Collector collects and classifies most of your UNIX/Linux/BSD configuration data in flat files called snapshots. This unique concept allows changes in snapshots of consecutive runs to be detected. These changes are added to a logbook that is helpful for administrators during troubleshooting and for auditors during audits. Snapshot and logbook are also available in HTML format. All data can be send to an SCC server where a web interface provides access to summaries and supports comparing snapshots of different servers and searching of all data. A WMI based Windows client is also available.

Tarantoga is an open source lightweight event management system for events from monitoring and more, with similar functionality to IBM Tivoli TEC, Master Cell, or BMC BEM. It supports your ITIL/ITSM event management process. It relies on MongoDB to store the events and Perl as rule programming language. GUI and backend are seperate tools that communicate only via the MongoDB. Tarantoga understands EIF, so you can send events with "postemsg", "msend -e", and the tarantoga tool tsend. Via EIF, you can also connect other element managers, or TSM or .... Connect Nagios, Zabbix, OpenSMART, etc. with tsend as notification action. VIB creates backups of any files edited using VI to a specified location while maintaining X backup revisions, and keeping a revision history of who made changes and when to a master log. VIB is Ideal in environments where you have multiple users logging into a UNIX system and you wish to keep track of whom is modifying files. For example, VIB could be 'aliased' in all new user shell accounts, so that when they edit a file using "vi", a log entry will be generated, and a backup copy of the file with their username will also be notated.
