I've also been able to merge in the 'unstable' PowerPC core which can run things the 'stable' cannot. Transport wise, I've gotten it to talk with pcap and UDP. I used the following configure options: --with-ads --with-shared-modules=idmap_ad --prefix=/opt/samba4 I just put the samba_backup script from source into samba/bin and adjusted the paths.
