X11::GUITest is the original Perl GUI automation toolkit for X11. This project is now maintained as a legacy project. Its successor is pyguitest, a Python-based GUI automation framework that continues the goals and functionality of X11::GUITest while extending support to modern Linux desktop environments, including X11, XWayland, and Wayland.
