In this version we have added support for high-resolution 3D rendering. Try the new “GPU Scaling Factor” feature to increase the 3D resolution beyond the native resolution of 256×192 pixels. Also, the Cocoa frontend sees continued radical enhancements and while the Windows frontend sees some new incremental enhancements. ...The first display using this platform is in the 8th Avenue lobby at the Google NYC office. To create this installation, we used 5880 off-the-shelf arcade buttons with LEDs inside them as our pixels. AnyPixel.js’ straightforward hardware/software framework makes it easy to build any display where each pixel is an interactive element. We've included 12 example apps written by Googlers and friends for the 8th Avenue lobby display in NYC. To check them out, install the previewer and run one of the examples. C-Library for microcontrollers to control SED1531 based LCD's
The GLCD SED1531 Library provides functions to draw pixels, lines, filled- and open rectangles and text for micro-controllers such as the Atmel 8-bit AVR series for (very cheap!) SED1531 controller based graphical LCD's. The library is written with portability to other micro-controllers and compilers in mind; all target specific parts are stored in a separated header file . The included example is for the Atmel ATtiny2313 and AVR-GCC.
