nwipe is a fork of the dwipe command originally used by Darik's Boot and Nuke (DBAN). nwipe was created out of a need to run the DBAN dwipe command outside of DBAN, in order to allow its use with any host distribution, thus giving better hardware support. nwipe is a program that will securely erase the entire contents of disks. It can wipe a single drive or multiple disks simultaneously. It can operate as both a command line tool without a GUI or with a ncurses GUI. -

headsort sorts files by line and fields. Options can pick field order and etc. In general headsort can sort in 1/2 the time sort(1) (mergesort) does in situations involving either pipes or mult column selection; less than 1/2 with both. Best case was about opposite that of sort(1)*. NEW* hsort main algorithm speed improvement (applies to all; 27,29,31). Now faster than sort(1) (in all cases tested). -

They had to save the last updated repo, to improve what happened thereafter in the 64bit version and to recompile that in 32bit.So said it doesn’t look hard but when recompiling is made on several hundreds of packages by 2 or 3 persons of goodwill, it becomes a considerable job.A job that doesn’t finish because a very strenght of pclos is in being a rolling distribution and Uplos aspires as well to be ever on progress.Since we have a special consideration for old hardware,we started with light DE. -
