nmon is short for Nigel's Performance Monitor It either shows you the stats on-screen updating once a second or saves the data to a CSV file for later analysis and graphing. elmon is a performance monitoring tool for Linux. It provides an ncurses interface as well as the ability to save the data to a CSV file. elmon is based on nmon and the CSV output is compatible with nmon processing tools.
