This is basically a reimplementation of dupfinder as: it doesn't compile on my computer, the executable won't work either, the projects seems dead and I didn't wanna work through the original code. So Look'n'Feel should be somewhat the same, though some changes have been made. Algorithm is simple and suitable for large file sets with few differences: basic set of duplicate candidates is determined by file size, then candidates are compared byte-wise. ... -

Dupless - a duplicate file solution
extract unique file sets from sets with duplicates
Do you have lots of files? I do, particularly image files. There are lots of duplicates and I want to extract a unique set from the larger set. That is what dupless does. Written in Java, using sqlite, it is some simple code that solves the duplicate file problem. All of the code is contained in the .jar file, both source and binary. Currently it writes scripts for use on Linux or Windows. See the Wiki or the README.txt in the .jar file for more information. -

Under Windows 8, access to delete wireless networks are no longer available. You can still use netsh command to do this. However it only deletes the network profile but not network list (i.e. you might notice issues such as Network 1, 2, 3, ... etc). Just a small application I made to simplify the process of creating symbolic and hard links in Windows 7 and Windows 8 (likely Vista too). It is a GUI for the MKLINK command in Windows, which makes creating the links much easier. The program requires administrator permissions due to use of the command prompt, so you should run it as an administrator if you experience any problems. Note: It is not possible to create a hard link from a network share. You must use a symbolic link instead.
