...The program is started immediately after the thermometer is pluged into the linux computer. The device sends the temperature in simple ASCII format every few seconds. Everytime a value is send, papouch-tmu utility reads the temperature and stores it into file /var/run/papouch-tmu/temperature. Program stops automatically when the thermometer is unplugged. The utility is coming with the munin plugin prepared. -

Real-time log monitoring in your browser
Inputs watch log files for changes, send new log messages to the server, which broadcasts to web clients. Log messages are tagged with stream and source information based on user configuration. log.io has no persistence layer. File inputs are informed of file changes via inotify, and log messages hop from input to server to web client via TCP and socket.io, respectively. log.io uses a stateless TCP API to receive log messages. -

S3 Email
A serverless email server on AWS using S3 and SES
...This stack was created out of frustration due to the fact that to this day there's no easy way to have a full email server without the overhead of installing and configuring all servers needed to handle incoming and outgoing messages. We wanted something simple, with no interface and no server management, so we came up with S3-Email. This included AWS SES as our email server (receive and send) and S3 as our database and interface. Then we tied everything together with a bit of code via AWS Lambda. The result is an unmanaged email server with unlimited email addresses that also offers the benefit of easily organizing messages by adding the + character to the email names. The + is converted to a /, which correlates to an object path in S3. -
