lshell is a shell coded in Python, that lets you restrict a user's environment to limited sets of commands, choose to enable/disable any command over SSH (e.g. SCP, SFTP, rsync, etc.), log user's commands, implement timing restriction, and more.

winrosh is Robbie's Shell for Windows. It is a command line shell that imitates the file-completion function of Bash (as of year 2005). It is better than NTSH and windows bash ports in that it supports CJK encodings.

FLoM is a free open source distributed lock manager that can be used to synchronize shell commands, scripts and custom developed software. When used in a shell environment, FLoM manages process synchronization in the same way that "nice" manages process prioritization. Shell commands, scripts and custom programs can be synchronized inside a single system or in a network of IP connected systems. FLoM supports different types of abstract resources: simple, numeric, set, hierarchical and transactional sequence. libflom, the library shipped with FLoM, allows you to develop your own application using a simple C, C++, Java, Perl, PHP or Python client API. SSL/TLS security for network communication, X.509 certificates for peer to peer mutual authentication.

Sakura is a Knowledge Navigator and User Interface for UNIX, which implements HyperMedia and its own windowing and packing system, both in the main program and in an extensive API for Tcl and other languages.

The Distribulator: Distributed Computing For The Rest Of Us. This is an SSH-based command execution and file transfer utility that includes support for batch, console, and shell integration modes, multiple server enviornments, and full audit logs.

PyDSH is a remote administration tool, consisting of pydsh and pydcp. Pydsh allows you to run a command on multiple hosts in parallel over RSH, SSH or Telnet, OR manage your SSH public keys. The pydcp command allows copying files to/from multiple hosts.

xhc allows you to easily launch the XWin.exe Cygwin/XFree server.

"diago" is the dialog-based system to easily create tree-form menus, execute programs and start connections to remote systems in the console sessions.

Jonnux is a Python powered custom system shell. The commands are executed via the Terminal and make the whole command line environment more friendly. Jonnux will only work on the Linux operating system.

An aliased-directory command-line navigation system. Manages a set of user-specified aliases pointing to directories tha allow the user to "jump" from one directory to another using very quickly and efficiently.
