The tool is simple to customize and has only a few configuration variables. There is one executable program and six proglets, 100 common GNU source tarballs required. The Linux 4.2 kernel has a System.map with 22000 entries, in contrast to the slackware15 map having 155000 entries. The uClibc works superbly with g++.
