A mini -- WCCP enabled using Transparent Proxying with Squid -- Linux distribution intended to cooperate with Cisco router.
EDAC is a set of Linux kernel modules for handling hardware-related errors. Currently its major focus is handling ECC memory errors. A new 'class' of 'edac_device' is available in the EDAC CORE. This allows for creating instances of 'edac_device'.
ELKS is a subset of the Linux kernel that runs on IBM compatible PCs from 8086 up. It is intended to get use out of obsolete old hardware, for use in embedded systems, and as an educational tool. ELKS has been moved to Github to protest SourceForge's installer adware hijacking. This does not directly affect ELKS, but it does affect many major open source projects such as Gimp and FileZilla by attempting to trick the user into installing adware in order to download these programs. I refuse to leave ELKS here with such policies in effect. If you have questions about this, please email email@example.com.
ESOSI (Employment of Secret-Sharing for Object Security in Intranets) offers a security solution for companies and authorities. It extends the eCryptfs file encryption system by adding Secret-Sharing, smartcard support and a Linux Security Module (LSM).

Enterprise is a custom UEFI bootloader designed to load Linux distributions directly from ISO files on Apple Mac computers (even those without UEFI booting support). It is designed to compliment Mac Linux USB Loader, though it can also be used separately (albeit with some setup work). The purpose of Enterprise is as the first stage in a two-stage booting process for Mac Linux USB Loader-created USB drives. Essentially, Enterprise loads GRUB, giving it configuration settings and the location of necessary files inside of the desired ISO, and then the distribution is booted. Enterprise will soon support booting multiple distributions, so you can have more than one distribution per USB stick. This way, you can test out multiple distributions.
Estime is a low overhead high resolution virtual timer for Linux.
FTPfs is a Linux kernel module. You can mount FTP servers locally and take full advantage of read-only local files (e.g. you might want to watch a movie without effectively downloading it).
Fairsched is a hierarchical fair CPU scheduler. Processes are divided into groups and each group receives guaranteed CPU time allocation proportional to its weight. The standard scheduler is used to schedule processes within a group.
File I/O statistics by process for linux.
The project provides for filesystem level snapshots over the 'modified' ext2 filesystem.
Onboard NAND flash operations monitor for embedded Linux
Flashmon is a Linux kernel module that monitors NAND flash memory access events using Kprobes and Jprobes. Flashmon targets embedded boards shipped with bare flash chips managed with MTD : mainly JFFS2, UBIFS and YAFFS based systems. The monitored events are : flash page read / write requests, and flash block erase operations. Instructions on how to use Flashmon are included in the archive.

Development versions feature job migration with and without kernel support. GNU Queue continues to be downloaded despite being decommissioned by the FSF in favor of the newer GNU Parallel project. Older versions of the code are archived here on Sourceforge and some later versions on GNU Savannah.
