Project moved to https://github.com/owfs/owfs/
Please note that OWFS source code, and all Issue/Tickets/merge requests have now been moved to https://github.com/owfs/owfs/. Developer mailing lists will still be kept at Sourceforge. ---- OWFS -- 1-Wire file system. Use the Dallas 1-Wire and iButton chips with standard filesystem commands. Create temperature loggers. Monitor everything. OWHTTPD -- same system, only used as a light weight web server. OWFS is also ported to embedded routers, Mac OSX and Windows. Basically you can use these inexpensive little sensors and other chips with very simple wiring to sense and control the physical environment. The interface is very flexible -- everything from a web browser, to read and writing directly to the chip's "file" to integrating with your programs -- even over the internet. There is a growing number of 1-wire sensors: temperature, voltage, humidity, light, ultraviolet, pressure, thermisters, thermocouples, programmable microcontrollers, relays, lights, LCD panels, etc
Hotplugging is a facility that supports dynamic (re)configuration of GNU/Linux distributions by kernel reports to user mode "agent" software.

Goal: To develop an open source test suite and certification program which will reliably ensure the proper functionality of hardware running Open Source operating systems (currently Linux and FreeBSD). See http://www.open-hardware.org for details.
Quiet Fan implements a control loop to set your CPU or motherboard fan speed. This means that it uses the lowest possible fan speed to keep a target temperature, and eliminates damaging hardware temperature oscillations.
The Cerberus Test Control System is a free (freedom) test suite for use by developers and others to test hardware. Originally developed at VA Linux Systems, it includes a modular test system that allows you to build and integrate your own tests.

BRMABench is a system of benchmark per comparison. This benchmark makes diverse routines of test in one determined time, the final time expense is always the same and what it determines score it is the amount of interactions in this same time.
The objective of the project is to provide a flexible, full working Linux distribution for Broadcom 6435 chip based ADSL routers (some examples are US Robotics 9105/9106, Siemens SE515, Dynalink RTA230, Buffalo WMR-G54 and Inventel DW 200).
A digital ambient air data logger built on Debian.
This is the California Air Resources Board, environmental digital data logger (CARBLogger) project which develops and maintains an open source, shell-script based digital data acquisition and reporting system.
A program that can plugging CPU core
CPU Hot Plugging (chp) is created by Kafabih (kr code) inspired by Thunderzap android custom kernel cpu governor to reduce battery consumptions because of your laptop CPU usages. Please use carefully, chp can cause system crash or hang because of hot plugging cpu core.
CiPIA-1 Linux is a project to implement a small distro of Linux targetted specifically at the Compaq iPAQ IA-1 Home Internet Appliance.
