This project contains the Linux kernel drivers for all Intel(R) Ethernet adapters and LOMs (LAN On Motherboard). To learn more about Intel Ethernet visit http://communities.intel.com/community/tech/wired Mailing list for out-of-tree Support: firstname.lastname@example.org Mailing list for in-kernel Support: email@example.com
This project was originally designed to provide an open-source replacement for PPJoy. The product, at this point, consists of virtual joystick devices that is seen by the system as a standard joystick but its position-data is written to it by a feeder application. An existing feeder application that takes advantage of this product is SmartPropoPlus. If you are an application writer you can very easily write an application that controls a joystick (e.g. mouse-to-joystick, keyboard-to-joystick). If you are a beginner in device drivers you can take this code and enhance it to support more (or less) axes, buttons or POVs.
hdparm - get/set ATA/SATA drive parameters under Linux

Serial line sniffer (slsnif). slsnif is a serial port logging utility. It listens to the specified serial port and logs all data going through this port in both directions.
Implementations for the Revised Report language
This project offers open source implementations for UNESCO/IFIP's Algol 68 (the Revised Report language). The project offers two implementations: Implementation 1 is Algol68G: a recent checkout hybrid compiler/interpreter by Marcel van der Veer, supporting arbitrary arithmetic, partial parametrisation, complex numbers, POSIX threads, GNU plotutils, GNU scientific library, curses, sound, TCP sockets, RegEx and PostgreSQL. Inplementation 2 is algol68toc, a port by Sian Mountbatten of the vintage Algol68RS (UK Defense Research Agency) compiler. The implementation emits C code.
CAN bus device driver
can4linux is an universal Linux device driver for ISA or PCI interface boards with CAN interface and embedded CAN controller solutions. Based on the API provided by can4linux commercial protocol stacks for CANopen, J1939 and DeviceNet are available. A first PCI board with an FPGA based CAN FD controller is supported (TARGET=IXXAT_IB500) in the CAN FD ISO mode but also non-ISO
Scanning Probe Microscopy Controller and Data Visualization Software
GXSM -- Gnome X Scanning Microscopy: A multi-channel image and vector-probe data acquisition and visualization system designed for SPM techniques (STM,AFM..), but also SPA-LEED/LEED/LEEM data analysis. A plug-in interface allows any user add-on data-processing and special hardware and instrument support. Latest: NC-AFM simulation support via math-plugin. Based on several hardware options it supports a commercially available DSP hardware and provided also Open Source Code for all the low level signal processing tasks and instrument controls in a most flexible and adaptable manner. All latest software is available via CVS only or Live Demo/Install CD: http://www.ventiotec.de/linux/GXSM-Linux.iso
plextor-tool is a small console utility for setting certain parameters of Plextor(r)/MMC CD-ROM/CD-R(W) drives. plextor-tool-applet is a GNOME applet providing basically the same functionality as plextor-tool (GTK 1.x only).
Acer Hotkey driver for Linux - a gently way of accessing your Acer's special keys (Mail, WWW, P1, P2, WiFi).
fxload utility from linux-hotplug project updated for the FX3
This is a branch from the fxload project, originally part of the linux-hotplug SourceForge project which seems to be abandoned. This branch incorporates the patch from Steven J. Magnani that adds support for Cypress FX3 USB 3.0 endpoint to the fxload utility. It has been tested on Ubuntu 12.04 with the FX3 development kit (part number CYUSB3KIT-001). Oddly, as of January 2013 Cypress doesn't include this utility with its (open source) Linux SDK but requires developers to purchase a copy of MS Windows to be able to program the board. This SourceForge project contains no new code.
The ADQ project aims to provide device drivers and a terminal based data acquisition and control program for the Meilhaus ME26 data acquisition board and the Meilhaus ME53 relay boards. The data can also be displayed in real time with a Web page.
