ext2/3/4 library for microcontrollers
The main goal of the lwext4 project is to provide ext2/3/4 filesystem for microcontrollers. It may be an interesting alternative for traditional MCU filesystem libraries (mostly based on FAT32). Lwext4 may be used with SD/MMC card, USB flash drive or other block based memory device. However it is not good for flash memory–based storage devices. Code is also available on github: https://github.com/gkostka/lwext4 Feel free to contact me: firstname.lastname@example.org
This project provides a file synchronization tool, comparable to unison, with a fast and simple to use application interface written using the Fox toolkit. It can use hash algorithms as well as simple file existence checks for synchronizations.

Small tool written in Perl for synchronizing file archives based on MD5 sum comparison (e.g. it detects when a file has just been renamed or moved to a new location inside of the archive). Best suited for offline synchronization, e.g. for mp3 archives.
for updates see https://sourceforge.net/projects/addfstab/ Terminal: Enter mount-drive /dev/sda1 to permanently mount a drive. Enter mount-drive /dev/sda1 -m /home/ubuntu/drive to change the mount path For more examples or help, type mount-drive To use the GUI: mount-drive -mgui

Show physical HDD activities in LED style or performance gauge style
Show physical HDD (fixed or removable) activities in LED style or performance meter gauge style. Both Win32/Win64 versions are provided. (Virus/Torjan scanned using Avira Pro.) The memory footprint is small and the CPU utilization is also very low (~ 0%), you can verify this by opening your Task Manager (Ctrl-Shift-Esc). This is originally mainly for my personal use since newer notebooks does not have HDD LED light so I quickly write a replacement using Visual Studio C++ 2010. Some of the existing HDD indicators constantly consume ~2% of CPU. Also most of them can't show individual actitivity for each physical HDD. For more than one HDD you need to run this program separately using different command line arguments. You can create short-cuts to save your settings. Please see ReadME.txt for more details. (A TODO item is to add these command line arguments into the GUI). Hopefully this tool helps. [1/4/2017 update: rebuild using Visual Studio 2013]

To synch and encrypt all sorts of data across different sources
SynchedIn is a portable utility created to enforce realtime or latent synchronization of data (generally files) between different data storage sources. You can create as many synch configs as you please. Each synch config specifies a number of data sources, a number of schedulers. Each scheduler determines when the data sources must be checked for synchronization. Each data storage source represents a hierarchical (file system ...) or other type of data storage medium. These include hard drive, removable media, sequential devices, online storage services. Perhaps the most distinguishing quality of this utility is POP3 and IMAP storage providers which enable storage of files in a mail server, such as gmail or yahoo, in so much the same way as an online storage service (google drive, drop box ...). Storage providers could be configured for encrypted storage and specification as to what part of the underlying medium the provider represents. Components: GUI+CLI+Daemon+ConfigStorage
