FridgeDuino is a firmware for an Arduino based fridge control. The code follows a modular design, separating the core functionality from the user interface. This allows easy integration with user interfaces from different manufacturers. For the GPL version, only the Whirlpool WRM series is supported. C-Library for microcontrollers to control SED1531 based LCD's
The GLCD SED1531 Library provides functions to draw pixels, lines, filled- and open rectangles and text for micro-controllers such as the Atmel 8-bit AVR series for (very cheap!) SED1531 controller based graphical LCD's. The library is written with portability to other micro-controllers and compilers in mind; all target specific parts are stored in a separated header file . The included example is for the Atmel ATtiny2313 and AVR-GCC. It is expected that other targets can be supported with minimal effort. MGSyn - Automatic Synthesis for Industrial Automation
MGSyn (Model, Game, Synthesis) is an open-source tool which integrates game-based synthesis into model-driven development for industrial control and automation. It is served for research and educational purposes. MGSyn has been originally developed by Department of Informatics (Unit 6), TU München and fortiss GmbH and is now maintained by fortiss GmbH. The software is released under the GNU General Public License Version 3.0 (GPLv3). Please download the tutorial for step-by-step instructions on installing and using the tool. It is advised to use 32-bit version (Eclipse) associated in the "MGSyn supplementary files", as the 64-bit version will by default demand huge memory, which may lead to Java exceptions.

WinDS is a Reimplementation of the OS Windows(R) XP(R) on the Platform Nintendo DS. Since i started coding Apps for the NDS, my goal was to write a program, called WinDS, which does (nearly) the same as the real appy by Microsoft. In contrast to other little NDS-Operating Systems, just like Woopsi etc. you can code your own Application in Lua for WinDS: just copy the Code onto the FAT-Disk and execute it from within WinDS! This is what makes WinDS so unique. The New Beta 0.95 is out, it features - 52 Classes that are already available within Lua - 25 different types of user interface classes - 8 different predefined dialogs which makes it the perfect GUI sandbox for DS. PS: More time without update means: next update will have even more improvements, as i am still developing ;)

Encode bitmap(bmp) file with run-length encoding
Encode bitmap(bmp) file with run-length encoding(RLE), just like RLE4 and RLE8, but extend to RLE16, RLE24 and RLE32. Usually, this project will be used in GUI of embedded system, to make the image files smaller, and save the IO bandwith. If the GUI support JPG or PNG, the compression ratio is much better than RLE, but how about the embedded system encounters both caculate limitation and IO bandwidth limitation? Try this project, I hope it can make a banlance between caculation and bandwidth. But first of all, you should know that the compression ratio of RLE is highly depend on the bitmap file data, the ratio can larger than 1, only when the same color continuously repeats in one line, it will gain a smaller compression ratio.
A disassembler and a simulator for the MSP430 CPU
A disassembler and a simulator for the MSP430 CPU. Both programs only read TI-TXT files. Licensed under the Simple Public License (SimPL) 2.0. For full license information, please read license.txt. Compiled executables are available for Windows and Mac OS X. Linux users will have to compile their own binaries. Instructions for compilation are included in README.txt. A Qt-based GUI is available for sim430. Binaries only for OS X, for now. Source files can be found in src/qt folder.
The embedded Buffer Pool Manager (eBPM) supports the creation of pools of fixed buffer sizes. The user may allocate a buffer from the pool and queue to any other pool. A freed buffer is returned to its original pool.

Embedded JPEG encoder
Jpegant is a compact JPEG encoder for embedded applications. It is intended to be executed on small microcontrollers or microprocessors. High speed and small memory usage is its main concern. It implements a subset of JPEG standard. Now the code contains JPEG decoder so if you decided to use nonstandard transform or entropy coding in encoder you still will be able to decode bitstream (provided that you keep the decoder in sync of course). Release 1.1 source code and Windows executables are on the download page. For the latest release code look into the repository in 'release-1-0' branch. The SSE2 inplementation is present in 'simd.0' branch in the repository.
An Open-Source Library for Low-Power Approximate Computing Modules
The “lpACLib” library contains the VHDL description of accurate and approximate versions of several arithmetic modules (like adders and multiplier of different bit-widths) and accelerators. Moreover, it also provides the corresponding software behavioral models/implementations developed in C and MATLAB to enable quality characterization. Besides our novel designs, it also contains implementations for several state-of-the-art arithmetic modules and their approximate versions. This open-source library facilitates research and development in approximate computing at higher abstraction levels, and to facilitate reproducible research and comparisons.
