The Beagle Entertainment System (BES) project is a complete filesystem image that turns the ARM-based BeagleBone Black single board computer into an embedded appliance capable of playing software for the SNES, NES, GBA, and Gameboy Color platforms. A full system image, ready to be written to a microSD card and used as-is, is available for download. Just connect your BES-enabled BeagleBone Black to your network and you can use BES's Node.js web interface to add or remove ROMs, configure gamepads, and edit ROM descriptions for the front-end GUI. There's no need to hand edit configuration files or manually copy ROM files onto the microSD card! nwGTPv2 is free and open source implementation of GPRS Tunneling Protocol version 2 (GTPv2) or Evolved GTP (eGTP). GTPv2 is primarily used for control signalling between Serving Gateway SGW and PDN Gateway (PGW) in Evolved Packet Core (EPC).

FunkOS is an RTOS for 8-32 bit MCUs including AVR, MSP430, and Cortex M3. Both C and C++ kernels avaiable. Key features include preemption, periodic events, device drivers, and mutex/semaphores. Includes a variety of graphics and filesystem middleware. Please also check out FunkOS's big brother, Mark3OS. Mark3OS is slightly larger, but is more scalable, much more feature-rich, and supports a wider variety of devices.

Windows XP reimplemented on Nintendo DS
WinDS is a Reimplementation of the OS Windows(R) XP(R) on the Platform Nintendo DS. Since i started coding Apps for the NDS, my goal was to write a program, called WinDS, which does (nearly) the same as the real appy by Microsoft. In contrast to other little NDS-Operating Systems, just like Woopsi etc. you can code your own Application in Lua for WinDS: just copy the Code onto the FAT-Disk and execute it from within WinDS! This is what makes WinDS so unique. The New Beta 0.95 is out, it features - 52 Classes that are already available within Lua - 25 different types of user interface classes - 8 different predefined dialogs which makes it the perfect GUI sandbox for DS. PS: More time without update means: next update will have even more improvements, as i am still developing ;)

Program NXP P89V51RD2 from your favorite Unix system
P89 Serial Programmer (p89pgm) is a simple command-line based serial In-System Programmer for Philips (NXP) P89V51RD2 microcontroller. This programmer is designed to be minimal, and has no external software dependency. Supported input formats are Intel HEX and raw binary file. This programmer is designed for GNU/Linux and Unix-like platforms; but it also runs on Microsoft Windows as well, thanks to Cygwin porting library.

Encode bitmap(bmp) file with run-length encoding(RLE), just like RLE4 and RLE8, but extend to RLE16, RLE24 and RLE32. Usually, this project will be used in GUI of embedded system, to make the image files smaller, and save the IO bandwith. If the GUI support JPG or PNG, the compression ratio is much better than RLE, but how about the embedded system encounters both caculate limitation and IO bandwidth limitation? Try this project, I hope it can make a banlance between caculation and bandwidth. But first of all, you should know that the compression ratio of RLE is highly depend on the bitmap file data, the ratio can larger than 1, only when the same color continuously repeats in one line, it will gain a smaller compression ratio.

A bleeding edge GTK+2 panel that does not reinvent the wheel: the primary target is to provide a panel that reuses whatever available (if not overkilling) in the obvious way. All the dependencies apart GTK+ are (and hopefully will be) optionals.

This tool is used to develop small applications that can run on MIPS-based embedded Linux devices - mainly WLAN routers. It is possible to debug these applications using GDB with the GDB backend provided by this tool.

This project provides three different interfaces for programming embedded chips: a GObject based library (for developers), an executable binary (for computer geeks) and a GTK+3 front-end (for less geeky users). Actually NXP LPC and STM32 based chips are supported.
This project is about using a SD-card together with an ATMEL ATmega32 microcontroller as mass storage medium. It implements the interface to the SD-card, a simplified FAT16 filesystem and a sample application: a data logger.
Quantum Leaps (QPC) DPP example with LWIP on STM3220G eval board
This is a port of the Dining Philosopher Problem (DPP) using the Quantum Leaps (http://state-machine.com) hierarchical state machine framework with the Light Weight IP (LwIP) network stack (http://savannah.nongnu.org/projects/lwip) and an ethernet driver implemented on the STM3220G-eval board (http://www.st.com/internet/evalboard/product/250374.jsp) running on stm32f207 Arm Cortex M3 uProcessor. Set recovery mode IP and flash firmware to ASUS WL-500gP router
SUSFinder is a utility to assign IP address and flash firmware to ASUS WL-500G Premium router booted in recovery mode on local network, in the case that you didn't know router's IP address settings beforehand. This utility do essentially the same thing as ASUS Firmware Restoration Utility, except that it relies on the external 'atftp' program to do the TFTP firmware flashing part. Currently, SUSFinder is written in ANSI C with POSIX API, thus should be portable to most Unix-like platform (including Cygwin).
