A Java Programm to sort JPEG-Images from digital still image cameras. The sorting is done by the capture date/time of the EXIF-Header. Image meta informations from EXIF-Header is stored in a database. Double files will be recognized by MD5-hash compare.

Sound Explorers Audio Archive is an open source Windows application for archiving audio recordings, together with associated documentation and videos. Support for associated images will be added in a future release. Its initial use is to archive the recordings that have been accumulated over several years by New Zealand's Sound and Light Exploration Society ('Sound Explorers') http://www.soundexplorers.co.nz/. The recordings are mostly of musical performances presented by Sound Explorers. However, though development is for Sound Explorers in the first instance, the nature of the data would lend itself to use by other organisations or individuals to archive similar collections of recordings, probably mostly of music. The Splitter Backup System is designed to prepare TAR archives to be burned to DVD media. Since the maximum file size in an ISO9660 file system is 2G, Splitter will traverse a given list of file system nodes and split off TAR files of 2G or less.
