...The DuplicateFileCheck application was created to simplify this process. You can select to either search the top-level directory or all sub directories (default action). All the files are enumerated with an md5 hash created, after this process each file is checked to determine if it is a duplicate. All unique files can be copied to a chosen output folder if required (default action is not to copy). A duplicates.txt is created which logs all the duplicate files detected.
