Cheap backup: a bashscript that backs up the whole system. The backup can be written on cd-rom/dvd-rom. While restoring, you can choose to restore one file/directory or the whole backup. Some help with restore and dvd-rom-functions is welcome.

g4u is a bootfloppy/CD-ROM that allows easy cloning of a PC harddisks or partition to deploy a common setup on a number of PCs via FTP or local disk. As the harddisk/partition is processed as a image, any filesystem and operating system can be deployed.
