X-CD-Roast is a flexible frontend for optical disc authoring. It combines command line tools like "cdrecord", "cdda2wav", "readcd" and "mkisofs" into a nice GTK based graphical user interface.

This Python program/library is designed to handle GD-ROM image (GDI) files. It can be used to list files, extract data, generate sorttxt file, extract bootstrap (IP.BIN) file and more. This project can be used in standalone mode, in interactive mode or as a library in another Python program (check the 'addons' folder to learn how). For your convenience, you can use the gditools.py GUI program supplied in the Files section (optional). To use this project you must install the Python 2.7.x branch release binaries. Easy-to-use multi-platform disk cataloguing program supporting local or removable media - drives and folders. Uses XML files as a data storage. It was originally created in 2010 to catalogue software compilations (also called freeware compilations) and CDs distributed with computer magazines. It was later improved to support any kind of disk and folder. It can be used to catalogue fragile disks like CDs, floppies, external hard drives, usb sticks, memory cards which are easy to damage. Cataloguing enables user to check what they contain without putting them physically into drive and avoid a possibility of a mechanical damage. Download package consists of a jar file and a Eclipse project with a full source code. No installation is required. You can copy this program anywhere or transfer it to another computer. Setting unique volume label to a drive before cataloguing is recommended. See blog or homepage for news and changelog. This program requires JRE 8 or newer.

MooseFS (MFS) is a fault tolerant, highly performing, scaling-out, network distributed file system. It spreads data over several physical servers which are visible to the user as one resource. This program allows you to set write and ownership permissions on Ext4 FS disks connected to your Linux system via a USB port to allow you to use them as storage. Normally, when you connect an Ext4-formatted disk directly to your system, you won't be able to write to or delete it. This is because Ext4 disks operate on a permission and ownership logic. By changing these settings, this program allows you to use your Ext4 disks as portable storage, just like MS NTFS, FAT32, or exFAT. You can also restore the permissions if you wish.
