'di' is a disk information utility, displaying everything (and more) that your 'df' command does. It features the ability to display your disk usage in whatever format you prefer. 'di' also checks the user and group quotas, so that the user sees the space available for their use, not the system wide disk space. 'di' is designed to be portable across many platforms and is great for heterogenous networks.

Lecithine is a FUSE (file system in user space) using a secret sharing scheme. You can use Lecithine as regular file system. When writing to disk, data will be devided into randomly chosen pieces (secret shares) and stored into different places. Upon reading, the shares are merged together such that in turn the plaintext results. From a cryptographers point of view, there is no symmetric or private key ever needed to produce a ciphertext. This is how secret sharing schemes are designed.

Disk Nukem is an open source, advanced wiping utility based on Darik’s Boot and Nuke (DBAN). It offers a new Kernel and more devices’ support, as well as a JSON/XML API, a web-based GUI, a callback/notification system in case of start,success and failure and many other features. It is well suited for a large audience including Internet Service Providers, System Administrators and Advanced End Users, just to name some. Disk Nukem is currently under development.
